Extracurricular Activities

National Junior Honor Society:

OLPH Academy was granted a Charter on July 2009 and therefore, this chapter is based on the National Honor Society Guideline. The purpose of NJHS is to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, to develop character, and to encourage citizenship. The School’s constitution and guidelines may be found with one of the sponsors, Mrs. Tanya Rodriguez.

Chess Club:

Our Lady of Perpetual Help Academy Chess Club meets every Thursday after school.  Students from 1st through 5th grade are invited to join.  Fees are payable to Rey Contreras, the Chess Coach.

Eaglettes:

For 5th grade, the students have the opportunity to try out and be part of the school cheer/dance team. The sponsors for Eaglettes are Mrs. Tanya Rodriguez and Mrs. Barbara Gisi.

Extra-curricular Activities Pick-up Policy:

Parents or guardians must pick-up their child promptly at the end of a scheduled practice or event. Students not picked up will be sent to Extended Day Care for a fee.
