Message from our Parish Priest

Welcome to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Academy!

It is a profound privilege to serve as the Pastor of Our Lady of Perpetual Help and a great blessing to have Our Lady of Perpetual Help Academy as an integral part of our parish family. Since opening its doors in 1954, our academy has been dedicated to forming saints and scholars who serve our community and Church with faith and purpose.

It is an honor to educate both the children and grandchildren of our alumni, who laid the foundation for this school over 50 years ago, as well as the new children and families joining our community, all of whom enrich our legacy of faith and learning. Today, we continue to build on that foundation, preparing our students for a future rooted in Christ. Under the leadership of our principal, Mr. Salazar, and his dedicated staff, our unique “Career Explorations” program, grounded in our Catholic identity, reflects our commitment to excellence. Though Catholic education has evolved since our founders’ time, one truth remains constant: Our Lady of Perpetual Help Academy is Christ-Centered and Future-Ready.

Catholic education is about nurturing saints and scholars, planting seeds of virtue, truth, faith, mercy, and love. Anything less falls short of the dignity God bestows upon our children. The Church and school we inherit are the fruit of the labor, love, faith, and sacrifice of generations before us. Their generosity and witness made our parish and academy possible, and we are blessed to build upon this legacy as we continue the mission to “go and make disciples.”

Each day at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Academy, we strive to bear witness to the Catholic faith through excellence in academics, arts, and athletics, all within a loving, nurturing environment enriched by daily prayer and weekly Mass. Ours is a school where the love of God and the joy of the Gospel are lived out daily.

I invite you to guide your children toward the Lord, so that together we may witness God’s graces flourish in your families, our community, and the Church through our parish and school. We are truly blessed!

In Jesus’ Love,
FrPeter G. Martinez
