Meet Mrs. Rodriguez
My name is Tanya Rodriguez and this is my sixth year at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Academy. I had been blessed to be a stay-at-home mom for three years with my children but decided to go back to work when my youngest started Pre-K. My previous work experience was in the commercial insurance industry, so when I decided on part-time work in the OLPHA kitchen, I felt it was God calling me to this school. I instantly felt He had me in the right place. I knew I wanted to do more with the academy and students, as I quickly developed a bond with the kids in the cafeteria. I then became the Kindergarten Aide and I truly feel it is my ministry to be here.
I get to see my own children surround themselves with Christ-filled teachers who are always striving to give them the best academic and religious education. I have also witnessed the amazing support system the school receives from the fantastic OLPHA parents that make teaching and working here a sincere honor.
In 2020, I moved into the position of Librarian and have returned to assist as a Teacher Aide. There is something truly dynamic and special when Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Academy students, families, and staff come together. We are one body of Christ. And I am humbled to be a small part of it.
