Volunteering:

Parents and family members are always welcome to participate in activities held at OLPHA. By working together, we can enrich the educational experience of our children.

The following procedures for volunteering should be followed:

  1.  Contact the classroom teacher or other appropriate personnel.
  2.  Stop by the school office to sign in.
  3.  When the volunteer activity is completed, return to the school office and sign out.
  4.  All volunteers who will be in direct contact with children must complete a criminal history background check and attend a safe environment class as required by the Diocese of Corpus Christi.

Applications are available in the school office.

Watch Dog Program:

Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) is the father involvement initiative of the National Center for Fathering that organizes fathers and father figures in order to provide positive male role models for the students and to enhance school security. “Dad” figures volunteer at least one day each year. Membership is highly encouraged and a membership fee will apply. More information can be obtained by calling our school office at 361-991-3305.
